Cath Norman appointed Non-Executive Chair
Kingston Resources Limited (ASX: KSN) (Kingston or the Company) is pleased to announce the
appointment of Ms Catherine Norman as Non-Executive Director and Chair of Kingston.
Ms Norman is an experienced resources executive and company director with more than 35 years’
experience across the minerals and energy sectors in Australia, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
A geophysicist by training, she also brings extensive experience in corporate strategy, business
development, asset transactions, capital markets and finance, merger and acquisition execution,
governance and sustainability.
As Executive Chair of BOA Resources Limited (ASX: BOA), Ms Norman led the Company’s strategic
repositioning towards copper through acquisition and consolidation before transitioning to Non-
Executive Chair, a position she still holds. She previously served as Chair and Interim Chief
Executive Officer of Lincoln Minerals Limited (ASX: LML), helping return that company to quotation
following a prolonged ASX suspension. In addition, Ms Norman has an outstanding pedigree of
exploration success having led ASX-listed FAR Limited to the world’s largest oil discovery of 2014
offshore Senegal.
Current Chair, Mr Mick Wilkes commented “Cath brings the blend of capital markets and
operational turnaround experience Kingston needs for its next phase. I’m confident the Company
is in excellent hands, and I’m pleased to be handing over to someone of this calibre.”
Cath Norman commented “I am delighted to join Kingston at an important point in the Company’s
evolution. Mineral Hill is a strategically valuable gold and copper asset, with established
infrastructure and significant resource and exploration potential. I look forward to working with
Andrew, the Board and the Kingston team as we assess the opportunities available to maximise
long-term value for shareholders. I also acknowledge Mick’s substantial contribution to Kingston
and thank him for supporting an orderly transition.”
This release has been authorised by the Kingston Resources Limited Board.
