Mick Wilkes Retires from Kingston Board
Kingston Resources Limited (ASX: KSN) (Kingston or the Company) advises that Mr Mick Wilkes
has resigned as a Non-Executive Director of the Company, with effect from 20 October 2026.
Mr Wilkes has served on the Kingston Board for eight years, including six years as Chair. His
retirement follows the successful Chair transition announced in July 2026, following the
appointment of Ms Catherine Norman as Non-Executive Chair on 8 October 2026.
During his tenure, Mr Wilkes helped guide Kingston through a transformative period that included
the acquisition and development of Mineral Hill and the successful divestment of the Misima Gold
Project. The Board thanks Mr Wilkes for his leadership, experience and commitment to the
Company and its shareholders.
Kingston Non-Executive Director and former Chair Tony Wehby commented:
“On behalf of the Board and personally, I sincerely thank Mick for his considerable contribution to
Kingston over the past eight years. His leadership and deep operational experience have been
invaluable as the Company navigated a period of substantial change and established the
foundations for its next phase.
“Mick brought to his role sound judgement, integrity and a strong commitment to our employees
and shareholders. We wish him every success in the future.”
Kingston Non-Executive Chair Catherine Norman commented:
“I would like to thank Mick personally for his generous support following my appointment and for
remaining on the Board to ensure an orderly handover. His knowledge of Kingston and its assets,
together with the insights he has shared, have been extremely valuable as I have transitioned into
the role.
“Kingston has a high-quality gold and copper platform at Mineral Hill and is advancing a significant
drilling and resource development program. I am excited by the opportunities ahead and look
forward to working with Andrew, the Board and the wider Kingston team to grow the resource
base, evaluate the pathway forward for Mineral Hill and deliver sustainable long-term value for
shareholders.”
Following Mr Wilkes’ retirement, the Kingston Board comprises Non-Executive Chair Catherine
Norman, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Andrew Corbett, and Non-Executive
Directors Tony Wehby and Stuart Rechner.
