Cath Norman
Chair
Cath Norman is a resources executive with 35 years’ industry experience. Cath is a qualified geophysicist who has held executive positions across Australia, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
As managing director for 11 years of oil and gas company FAR Limited, Cath Norman led the successful exploration strategy which resulted in the world’s largest oil discovery in 2014 off the west Coast of Africa, west of Senegal. Under her leadership, she grew the company to be the 6th largest oil and gas company on the ASX at the time, with a market capitalisation of A$680M.
Cath was an integral member of the Lincoln Minerals team to relist the company after a two-year suspension. Cath was appointed Chair of the Board on relisting and interim CEO until July 2023.
Cath has strong capital markets and listed company experience and led the raising of approximately A$500M in equity and $350M in debt for the exploration and development of oil and gas assets. She has strong business acumen and is a company leader promoting cohesive working teams to deliver their best outcomes for the company’s success.
Cath Norman is a proven industry professional having delivered shareholder value in her roles as a managing director, non-executive director and executive chair roles throughout her career to date and continues her stellar career with Kingston Resources to grow shareholder value.
Mr Andrew Corbett
Managing Director
Mr Corbett is Managing Director and CEO of the Company. Mr Corbett is a highly experienced mining engineer, having operated in the mining industry for over 25 years. Mr Corbett has senior corporate, operational and mine management experience combined with an in-depth understanding of global equity markets, business development and corporate strategy within the mining sector.
His prior roles include General Manager at Orica Mining Services based in Germany and Co-Portfolio Manager of the Global Resource Fund at Perpetual Investments as well as mine management and operations roles with contractor and owner-mining operations. Mr Corbett has a Bachelor of Engineering Mining (Honours) from Western Australian School of Mines, a Masters of Business Administration from Newcastle University and a First Class Mine Managers Certificate.
Mr Stuart Rechner
Non-Executive Director
Mr Rechner is an experienced company director and geologist with a proven track record in project generation, acquisition, exploration, funding and development in Australia and overseas. Mr Rechner holds degrees in both geology and law and is a member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists, the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. For over ten years Mr Rechner was an Australian diplomat with postings to Beijing and Jakarta. Mr Rechner has been a Director of Strategic Energy Limited (ASX:SER) since 12 September 2014.
Mr Anthony Wehby
Non-Executive Director
Mr Wehby is a highly experienced board member and chairman. He is a Director of Ensurance Ltd (ASX:ENA) and Chairman of Variscan Mines Limited (ASX:VAR). He was previously Chairman of Tellus Resources Limited and Chairman of Aurelia Metals Limited. Since 2001, Mr Wehby has maintained a financial consulting practice, focusing on strategic advice to companies including investments, divestments and capital raisings. Prior to 2001, Mr Wehby was a partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers Australia (Coopers & Lybrand) for 19 years. Mr Wehby is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Mr Mick Wilkes
Non-Executive Director
Mr Wilkes is a mining engineer with over 35 years of broad international experience with a strong emphasis on operations management and new mine development, predominantly in precious and base metals across Asia and Australia. In the past 20 years he has been responsible for the successful greenfield development of four major gold and copper mines, each creating substantial value for shareholders, local communities and Governments with aggregate annual production of over 600koz of gold and 200kt of copper.
Most recently Mr Wilkes was the President and CEO of Canadian and Australian listed OceanaGold Corporation. He was recently a member of the Board Administration Committee for the World Gold Council and is currently a member of the Advisory Board for the Sustainable Minerals Institute at the University of Queensland. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mining engineering from the University of Queensland and an MBA from Deakin University.
